The Mansion at Natirar offers a rare combination of Tudor architecture, open countryside, beautiful natural light, and elegant interiors. After photographing numerous weddings at Natirar, I understand how the property changes throughout the day, where the most flattering portrait light appears, and how to build a photography timeline that allows couples to enjoy the estate without feeling rushed.
Set high above the surrounding landscape in Peapack-Gladstone, the mansion creates distinct settings for outdoor ceremonies, portraits across the grounds, and celebrations inside the ballroom. Lindsey and Eric’s late-summer wedding used each of those spaces beautifully, while keeping the focus on their families, personal vows, and the people gathered around them.
The historic Mansion at Natirar is now part of Pendry Natirar, the expanded resort and wedding destination in Peapack-Gladstone. Couples may encounter both names while planning, but the restored mansion, sweeping grounds, and countryside setting remain at the heart of the experience.
The Ceremony
Lindsey and Eric recently spoke their own written vows outside of the mansion overlooking the countryside. Lindsey looked exceptional in her pristine white Reem Acra wedding gown as she walked down the aisle to Wonderwall by Oasis. Particularly special for Lindsey was that her grandfather was the celebrant. To add to the enchantment, a special poem was written for the couple by the bride’s mother and was recited during their ceremony.
Floral Design and Installation
The floral design and installation of the wedding was done by Jardiniere Fine Flowers. They filled the mansion with an elegant, timeless, and romantic take on late summer’s best flowers: PeeGee hydrangeas as the star, accompanied by dahlias and roses, exactly what Lindsey had envisioned. The ballroom was complete with greenery, hydrangea and light globes covering the ceiling. The couple remembers this reveal as a highlight of their wedding day!
Correspondingly, I loved the mix of Autumn colors, especially on the bridesmaids’ Jenny Yoo and Amsale dresses. Each bridesmaid chose a dress they felt fabulous in, a concept I think is unconventional yet fresh as the flowers.
The guests dined on seared salmon and filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes, while treating themselves to the dance by Eric’s father on the tunes of the Blues Brothers Soul Man, performed by the Groove Shop.
Lindsey and Eric’s Reflection
After their honeymoon in Italy’s Sorrento, Florence and Rome, the couple reflected on their wedding festivities and said, “We can’t imagine our wedding day could be any more perfect than it was. The venue is breathtaking! We are grateful to Berit who captured these moments for us, making them timeless and enduring. Her professionalism and talent are unforgettable.”
