“We recently got married at it was the best day EVER, in large part due to Berit and her assistant. From meeting Berit months ago in NYC to discuss our vision of the day, to our engagement photo shoot, to video chatting, to the wedding day; Berit seemed more like a friend than our wedding photographer. She was available 24/7 when I had questions or concerns and shared very valuable advice throughout the entire process. Berit had amazing ideas and options to make our day go smoothly and include everything we wanted and more. Her presence at my home while the bridesmaids and I were getting ready was excited and electric and her energy is contagious. She is both patient and direct which made for a casual yet organized day. I am somewhat uncomfortable being in front of the camera, but both Berit and her assistant made our wedding day so great and comfortable and it totally showed in their photos. I would recommend Berit to every single bride I know! If you are interested in peace of mind, the most beautiful pictures, and a happy expert photographer and team, Berit is for you. THANK YOU Images by Berit!!”
Downtown New York City is known to put on a show during the holiday season. From the grand Christmas tree at Rockefeller to the 5th Avenue holiday window displays, there’s no better place to say “I Do” than in Manhattan during the holidays. Michele and Tim hosted a beautiful Christmas-time wedding in New York City. Although it rained, we still got stunning portraits in Central Park. Nothing dampened Michele and Tim’s spirit; they were both very excited for this day. From the horse carriage to night time shots in Central Park, it was truly a magical day.
Are you looking for a bit of Hamptons wedding inspiration? Our story of Lilly and Niklas is a classic story of an elegant summer wedding in the Hamptons, captured by Images by Berit. The fantastic couple celebrated their love with a personal and chic wedding in Water Mill, NY, marrying in their own backyard. Choosing a natural pallet of greens, browns, and earth tones, the intimate ceremony bespoke of a verdant enchanted forest with an air of summer romance. I was humbled when Lilly, who had referred me to her sister seven years earlier to document her wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, called me when she became engaged to see which dates I had available. This type of trust between a photographer and her client is incredibly important. Right from the start Lilly really enabled us both to achieve and capture hers and Niklas’s vision for their day.
Jodie and Brian had a stunning, elegant wedding day at the iconic Pierre Hotel in New York City. The day was filled with sentimental moments including the Katubah signing and their gorgeous traditional Jewish ceremony. There were lush floral arrangement everywhere you could see. The night was capped off with the groom getting on stage and playing guitar with the band!
